Thank you for attending the 2nd Annual Lavin-Cassidy Feis
We greatly appreciate everyone’s participation in our feis. We worked very hard to hold the feis in a venue similar to the major dance competitions. Our goal was to have dancers at every level experience feising in a beautiful hotel environment and for families to enjoy all the facilities had to offer. We hope everyone that attended, enjoyed the feis as much as we did.
We are already working on ways to improve for next year. We realize that several of the stages were very crowded. We have several ideas for how to rectify this for next year.
Unfortunately we had a judge come down with the flu the morning of the feis. Cathy O’Carroll from Cross-Keys and Laura Stack-Finn from Lavin-Cassidy graciously stepped in and helped judge when their dancers were not in a competition. With this help we were able to keep stages moving and utilize all 8 of our stages. We are very thankful to them for their time and willingness to help. If you saw 2 judges at your dancers table this was done to help alternate judging without stopping the competitions.
These and other areas will be worked on to make our feis even better for 2010. We look forward to seeing you next year!!!
